Turkish Airlines Flight Delay and Missed Connection in Adana
We purchased a 40-person tour package from Jolly Tour, and on flight TK1084 at 20:20, 35 passengers had their luggage tagged for Adana. While waiting in the check-in lounge, the flight was delayed for three hours in Belgrade. Upon arriving in Istanbul, we contacted THY and informed them that the delay was caused by THY. Despite this, due to the one-hour time difference in Serbia, our group was ten minutes late, and the gates had closed. The desk staff defended themselves by saying our ticket purchase method was incorrect. Despite a three-hour delay in Belgrade, the THY flight did not wait even half an hour for 35 people in Istanbul. Our group of 35 people was stranded at the airport until 5 AM, had difficulty finding their damaged luggage, and had to hire a bus to travel to Adana. We hold THY responsible for our inconvenience and request compensation for our troubles.
