Turkish Airlines Flight Check-In Issue
I had purchased a ticket for a 9:00 AM flight with Turkish Airlines. Due to an accident on the way to the airport, I was forced to arrive late. When I arrived at the airport at exactly 8:01 AM, I immediately went to the check-in counter. Due to the long line, I was told that I was late and that they couldn't assist me and advised me to go to the supervisor. When I reached the supervisor, there were still 42 minutes left until my flight. Despite being only 3 minutes late, they not only refused to check me in but also did not help with a ticket change. I had to burn my 2 tickets and buy new ones at double the price. Friends, I realized that this is how this company approaches such situations. Instead of helping someone who has experienced hardship, their response was very disappointing. With Pegasus, I have experienced that they allow check-in up to half an hour before the flight. Even if we miss the check-in, they at least help by changing to the earliest available flight.
