Turkish Airlines Didn't Accept My Baggage So I Missed the Flight
On January 19th at 07:20, we were 2 minutes late for the baggage drop-off time, and the supervisor at section D-22/43 did not accept the baggage for 4 people traveling as a group. We were offered to leave our bags and board the plane. We were not assisted in any way, as if we were told to throw away our bags containing personal belongings. If they had at least suggested leaving them in storage, our group members arriving later could have picked them up. We tried to find a solution for 55 minutes, but no employee helped us. Turkish Airlines should not inconvenience its customers with such simple issues. Your staff needs to learn how to treat people. On behalf of myself and my group, I want to state that we will not let this issue go. To make it to a company meeting by 13:00, we were forced to buy business class tickets due to no available seats in economy class, costing us ₺3860. Turkish Airlines, which can even delay a flight when it wants to, did not accept our baggage for being 2 minutes late. Additionally, they tried to sell seats purchased for 100 Euros separately from our other friends. I want to emphasize again that we will follow up on this issue.
