Tesla Model Y Delivered With Damaged Bumper From Improper Plate Installation
I took delivery of my Tesla Model Y Dual Motor in Izmir at 11:30 AM on September 11. I did not inspect the rear of the vehicle in detail during delivery, but approximately 10 minutes later, I noticed that the license plate had been mounted off-center and crooked toward the left side of the bumper. I also noticed that the improper installation had caused damage to the bumper.
I immediately reported the issue through the Tesla app, by contacting the Tesla sales center and customer service, and by submitting photos of the damage. However, even after a full day had passed, I had not been offered any concrete solution regarding a vehicle that was delivered with a defect and damage. Instead, I was only given an appointment four days later. I paid approximately $92,000 for this vehicle, and encountering such careless delivery and being unable to reach an authorized representative has been extremely disappointing.
I request that the damage to my vehicle’s rear bumper be completely repaired, that the license plate be properly and securely reinstalled in accordance with applicable standards, and that the bumper be returned to me in flawless condition. I do not want to leave my vehicle with the same service team that installed the license plate incorrectly. Therefore, I request that the necessary work be performed by a professional and meticulous team at no additional cost to me.
