Tesla Model Y Repair Delayed by Months-Long Replacement Part Shortages
I contacted Tesla’s authorized Antoto Tesla service center in Antalya in August 2026 to have the rear bumper and related damaged parts of my Tesla Model Y replaced. I was informed that the estimated arrival dates for the replacement parts were December 11 for the left rear fender, October 2 for the left rear wheel-well panel, November 25 for the rear crossmember, and September 16 for the other parts. In other words, because the parts for a single damage repair are scheduled to arrive separately and months apart, I am being forced into a situation where I will be unable to use my vehicle for an extended period.
For a brand positioned in the premium segment and selling brand-new vehicles, I do not find such lengthy supply times for basic body components acceptable. I am experiencing both financial and personal inconvenience, as I cannot use my vehicle in my daily life and have no clear idea when the repairs will be completed.
I request that Tesla move up the parts procurement and repair process for the bumper and other damaged components to the earliest possible date, prioritize the supply of the required replacement parts, and take appropriate steps to address the inconvenience and losses I am experiencing throughout this process.
