Turkish Airlines Failed to Provide Bassinet Seat for 12-Hour Flight with 4-Month-Old

122

My wife is scheduled to travel with our 4-month-old baby on a Turkish Airlines flight from Jakarta to Istanbul on July 5, 2024. It's a 12-hour journey, and we're being told that no bassinet seats are available. They're charging ₺3,500 for the seat but claim they don't have any bassinet seats. I requested a date change to July 3rd or 4th, but was told those dates are unavailable too. Turkish Airlines, which claims to be a global airline, can't even provide a bassinet for an infant fare. Some world-class brand this is.
