Turkish Airlines Didn't Reimburse Me for My Broken Baggage


My luggage was damaged during my return flight from Antalya to Istanbul on August 19, 2023. I promptly filed a report, and the following day, I filled out Turkish Airlines' online baggage irregularity form. They eventually asked for the baggage receipt, but I explained that there was none because I was looking for a replacement for the same suitcase, not compensation. There has been no action as of September 27, 2023, and they are now insisting on providing a repair invoice. It is obvious that they will not provide a new suitcase. This lack of regard is both unacceptable and disappointing. Turkish Airlines' handling of my legitimate complaint has left me frustrated and disheartened. A resolution should not be this difficult to achieve, and I hope that others do not experience the same difficulties that I have.
They gave a small fee.
