Turkish Airlines Baggage Delivery Issue
On August 18, 2023, I traveled with Turkish Airlines from Toronto to Istanbul to Antalya. Despite checking in three suitcases, I received only two. A report was filed at Antalya airport. I was informed that I needed to follow up with Antalya Airport within five days, and if no resolution was found, I could contact Turkish Airlines customer service. Turkish Airlines customer service instructed me to fill out a form on their website, providing copies of my ticket, baggage receipt, and passport. Later, they requested an itemized list of the belongings in the missing baggage. As of today, it has been forty-nine days, and there has been no resolution. Every time I call, I am told that I will be contacted soon, but I have not received any updates or my suitcase. It is extremely disappointing that a large and reputable company like Turkish Airlines shows such a lack of attention and follow-up. I hope the officials of the company I have traveled with for many years will show sensitivity to this issue so that I can receive my suitcase.
