Turkish Airlines Did Not Send My Baggage on International Flight!
Hello, good evening. On June 14, 2024, our flight to Tanzania with the 19:30 Istanbul-Dar es Salaam Turkish Airlines flight began. Our flight was already quite troublesome. For an 8-hour journey, Turkish Airlines sent an aircraft suitable for domestic flights, typically 1 to 1.5 hours long. After a very exhausting journey, we arrived in Dar es Salaam only to find out that our baggage was not loaded. Many local and foreign tourists are affected here. There are many unclaimed bags here. Around 100 people have filled out forms here. We have been waiting for hours because Turkish Airlines did not load our baggage. We are waiting here. The inconvenience that started on the plane has only grown here, and we are experiencing this hardship now. We have plans for tomorrow. We have another flight from here. Are we supposed to come back here for our luggage tomorrow? Will we travel for hours again or stay somewhere here? How will this issue be resolved? Why can't we find someone to address this? Why is there no explanation? I now have to pay for a hotel here because Turkish Airlines has disrupted my plans and schedule. Who will cover this? Who will compensate for my lost time? Turkish Airlines has caused a major inconvenience. We boast about this company being world-renowned, but it has lost credibility in the eyes of foreign tourists here. In 2024, with all the advancements in technology and science, there is no luggage. Turkish Airlines did not send the luggage. That's all I have to say.
