Turkish Airlines Did Not Inform Me of Gate Change and I Missed My Flight
On August 30, 2025, I purchased a ticket for Turkish Airlines flight TK4960 from Istanbul to Yüksekova through their official website (PNR: T4WTS5). The flight time was shown as 11:55, and I was initially assigned to gate G6A. However, around 10:30, the gate was changed, and I was informed far too late. When I noticed the change at 11:54, the gates had already closed, and I was not allowed to board. During this process, I was left victimized due to the lack of timely and sufficient notification. I immediately reported the situation to Turkish Airlines customer service but received a negative response. Since I could not take the flight, I request a refund of my ticket cost of ₺12,265.
