Turkish Airlines Flight Delay and Missed Connection

On 17.07.24, the Turkish Airlines flight TK 2313 from Izmir to Istanbul, scheduled for 10:45, departed 45 minutes late. My connecting flight to Erzurum was planned for 13:00. Upon arriving at the airport, neither I nor my 81-year-old relative were allowed to board the flight. When we reached gate G4B for flight TK 2706 to Erzurum at 12:52, the plane was still at the gate. Despite this, the Turkish Airlines staff at gate G4B did not allow us to board, causing us significant inconvenience. It is a significant blemish on the reputation of such an established company to cause such inconvenience. To prevent passenger inconvenience, flight TK 2706 at 13:00 should have been delayed.
