Turkish Airlines Delayed My Baggage Compensation
I traveled with Turkish Airlines on March 1, 2024, from Mogadishu to Istanbul. Both of my suitcases were lost. They filed a report stating that my bags would arrive with the next day's flight. However, my bags did not arrive in Turkey, Istanbul until March 11, 2024, and I received them on March 14, 2024. Since I was not in Istanbul, I had to make urgent purchases during this 13-day period and was told to keep the receipts. When my bags arrived, I found one of them broken and reported it. They started the evaluation process on March 15, 2024, by taking photos. After the review was completed on March 27, 2024, I accepted the proposed payment amount, signed the release form, and provided my IBAN details. They stated that the payment would be made within 6-10 business days. However, since the payment was not made, I call every day and express my urgency. In the latest email, it was stated that the payment could not be made due to a system error. I request that my grievance be resolved.
