Turkish Airlines Damaged My Suitcase and Won't Compensate
I flew on June 17th. I had bought a new suitcase and was using it for the second time when THY damaged it. I received my luggage wrapped entirely in stretch film. I went to the baggage complaint section and asked why it was torn, they said it was wrapped as a precaution. I deeply regret not opening the wrap at that moment. I was tired from the trip and in a hurry to get home with my child. When I got home and opened the wrap, I was shocked. The bottom part of the zipper was completely torn.
I filed an online complaint. Because I didn't get a report at the airport, they didn't compensate me and kept me waiting for 50 days. They saw my torn suitcase and wrapped it in stretch film, otherwise why would they wrap it, why only mine as a precaution? Compensate me for my suitcase.
