Turkish Airlines Damaged My Suitcase but Didn’t Compensate It
Before my flight with THY, I noticed a tiny crack on my luxury suitcase and reported it as damaged. However, upon receiving my suitcase at the destination, it was half shattered, as if a wheel had run over it. The necessary department took photos of the damage, recorded it, and confirmed the damage in person, instructing me to fill out a form on their website. They assured me that the compensation would be deposited into my account within 15 days. It has now been 2 months, and today I received an email from this global company stating that they would not compensate for the damage, claiming that the initial tiny crack was the reason. This is unacceptable. My tracking number is 2023240408. They can check airport cameras to see that I handed over my suitcase in perfect condition. If this issue is not resolved, I will take legal action. I have all the necessary documents.
