Turkish Airlines Damaged My Suitcase and Refused to Compensate
After my flight, I noticed that the entire section of my large suitcase where the wheel is located was completely broken. I immediately reported it to the airport staff. Subsequently, I created a baggage irregularity report with THY. They rejected my claim, stating that my suitcase was already broken before the flight. I explained that this was not the case and requested compensation or a new suitcase. They persistently refused and asked for proof if it was indeed broken during the flight. They responded vaguely in a previous email and then stopped replying altogether. I have been flying with THY for years, and now they are refusing to compensate for the damaged suitcase, leaving me in a difficult situation for months. I am requesting compensation for my suitcase.
