Turkish Airlines Damaged and Tampered My Luggage
On August 4th, we took a THY flight from Antalya to Istanbul. When we received our luggage, we found that two of our suitcases were broken and opened, with our belongings tampered with. We immediately went to the THY office and filed a report. We also called the police, but I won't go into further details. For a whole month, we have not received any response about why the suitcases were damaged and tampered with during this flight. For almost a month, despite having a claim in the compensation unit, no THY representative has responded to our request, nor have they provided an explanation or an apology. This means that after you hand over your luggage, it can be broken open, your private belongings can be tampered with, and possibly stolen while you are flying. And then no one will even bother to give you an explanation. I urgently expect compensation for my belongings.
