Turkish Airlines Cancelled My TK2191 Flight, Missed Concert and Waited at the Airport
On 25.05.2024, Turkish Airlines cancelled my TK2191 flight scheduled for 03:10 after keeping us waiting at the airport for 1 hour and 35 minutes, without providing any reason. My TK2191 flight was a connecting flight from Ankara to Istanbul to Belgrade. Due to the cancellation at 04:25, I was sent to Istanbul on the 08:10 flight, causing me to miss my 07:45 Istanbul-Belgrade connecting flight. Subsequently, I was made to wait another 10 hours at Istanbul airport and was finally placed on the 18:45 - 20:30 Belgrade flight. However, there was a 16:35 Istanbul-Belgrade flight that I was not accommodated on. In total, I waited 20 hours at Ankara and Istanbul airports and only managed to leave Belgrade airport at 21:30, with no public transportation available to reach the city center at that time. As a result, I missed the Rammstein concert that was to start at 19:00 on 25.05.2024, for which I had paid €80. I was both inconvenienced and left without any explanation. I kindly request the reimbursement of the ticket cost attached.
