My Turkish Airlines flight TK0061 from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Istanbul Airport on 02.12.2023 at 23:50 was canceled due to technical issues with the aircraft. Despite this information being known beforehand, no explanation was provided by the Turkish Airlines staff at the airport. The chaos started at 20:00 and continued until 01:00 with no resolution in sight. Later, we were informed that the flight would depart at 03:50 and were given ₺150 (equivalent to 25 ringgit) for food, which could only buy water at the airport. Subsequently, I received an email stating the flight was canceled, but there was still no explanation from the officials, no clear arrangement for a hotel, and no update on the flight status. I rescheduled to a flight at 09:55 the same day, but no hotel was arranged for me, nor was I provided with the main meal I was entitled to. This negative experience at the airport disrupted my return plans. Despite the aircraft malfunction being entirely their issue, I couldn't find anyone to assist me.
