Turkish Airlines Cancelled My Flight After Four Delays

On June 11th, 2025, my Turkish Airlines flight TK2469 from Adana to Istanbul turned into a serious sequence of issues. The flight was delayed 4 times (17:55 → 18:30 → 19:00 → 19:40) and finally cancelled, with a replacement flight scheduled for the following day. During this long period of uncertainty, I had to wait at the airport for hours with my 4-month-old baby and my wife, which was extremely challenging. Later, we were accommodated at Mavi Sürmeli Hotel, where the hygiene and comfort levels were absolutely inadequate and not suitable for a family with an infant. Our entire travel schedule and business plans were disrupted. As a frequent Turkish Airlines passenger for many years, I am unfortunately witnessing a significant increase in delays and cancellations recently. Sadly, this is not my first inconvenience. It has become almost exceptional nowadays to have a flight with no delays. I still trust Turkish Airlines as a brand, but I respectfully request: • Fair compensation and reimbursement for this serious inconvenience, • Consideration of our material and emotional distress, • Proper review and improvement of your operational processes to prevent such incidents in the future. I am looking forward to a proper solution aligned with Turkish Airlines’ customer satisfaction principles.
