Turkish Airlines Cancellation Difficulties for App-Purchased Ticket
I purchased my ticket for June 10 from Izmir to Van through the Turkish Airlines app using a PNR code. Due to work-related reasons, I need to cancel my ticket. However, when I try to cancel it through the app, it gives a warning saying “contact the agency.” When I call customer service, they tell me I need to go to an office and refuse to cancel the ticket over the phone. Why do I need to cancel a ticket purchased through the Turkish Airlines app via an agency? They are very helpful when it comes to selling the ticket, but when it comes to cancellation, they make it unnecessarily difficult. I simply want to cancel my ticket.
