Turkish Airlines Call Center Issue with Flight Cancellation and Refund
On 31.12.2023, I purchased a Diyarbakir-Istanbul flight with a departure at 09:30 and arrival at 11:30, with PNR number RYHUPL, for ₺3,205. My flight was continuously delayed, and the final departure time was rescheduled to 16:15. I decided to cancel my flight, and I was informed that a refund of ₺1,200 would be processed. On 31.12.2023 at 12:02, I called the THY call center and spoke with a female representative who did not share her name. She informed me to call back once the refund was processed to create a feedback report. When I tried to express my complaint, the representative interrupted me and tried to silence me. I warned her by saying, 'Please do not interrupt me,' but she responded with, 'Calm down, or I won't be able to assist you,' even though my tone was normal and respectful. Despite this, the representative continued to interrupt me, and I eventually had to end the call. I request that the conversation with the relevant personnel be reviewed and appropriate actions be taken.
