Upon arrival at Barcelona Airport on May 25, 2024, I discovered that my luggage was not loaded onto the flight by THY and was left behind in Istanbul. This resulted in significant issues, including the loss of important business documents, extended time spent at the airport, my phone battery dying, and two days of repeatedly traveling to and from the airport for investigation. Consequently, my scheduled meetings in Barcelona were canceled.
Staying in Barcelona from May 25 to June 2 became pointless. Despite the inconvenience caused by THY, I had to cancel my return ticket from Barcelona on June 2, 2024, and purchase a new ticket for May 27, 2024, for an additional ₺2,254. I returned to Istanbul on May 27, 2024, with ticket number 2352227149321 on flight TK1854.
I request a refund of the ticket costs and miles I paid for these flights, including the change fee, totaling ₺11,297.75 + 60,000 miles. 2. Additionally, I request reimbursement for the hotel reservation I made, which was rendered useless. I also request compensation for my taxi expenses to and from the airport during this period, amounting to €2,950.40.
