THY Canceled a Flight I Reserved Six Months Ago, Free Rescheduling Didn't Work
THY canceled my flight, which I booked 6 months ago, first by changing the time a month ago and then by canceling it altogether. The free change option provided did not allow me to select a ticket online. After leaving a record with customer service for 3 consecutive days, I called again today, and the ticketing was done over the phone (even though it couldn't be done over the phone initially). Of course, I had to reschedule to a different day than my original booking because all seats were booked except for business class (there were available seats until yesterday). They said they couldn't provide a business class ticket and booked for a different date. Since the hotel I booked 6 months ago is non-refundable, I ended up paying more for a shorter vacation. Thank you, THY, for a bad experience before the vacation even started.
