I Experienced an Inconvenience Due to Flight Time Change With Turkish Airlines
I purchased tickets from THY for four adults and two children. Our flight was scheduled for June 7, 2024, at 9:40 AM. After a month, we received a message stating that our flight was changed to 3:30 PM due to operational reasons. Since we did not approve this change, we were told we could look for other suitable times and that additional flights might be available. When I called customer service, I was informed that there were no suitable times available and mentioned that our hotel check-in was on that day and that we had bought the tickets months in advance. This situation puts people in a difficult position. All available times were set as business class. This is not the first time I have experienced such an inconvenience. If they are changing our time arbitrarily, we should have the right to book tickets at all available times without class distinction.
