On March 9, 2024, at 19:57 (CET), I purchased a round-trip ticket from Düsseldorf to Ankara for June through the Turkish Airlines iOS app, costing ₺17,616.34. Despite the charge being made to my card, I did not receive the ticket.
I opened a case with Turkish Airlines regarding this issue, but after several weeks of email exchanges, no resolution was reached. They informed me that they could not find the ticket number. I also do not have the ticket number as I never received an email. Since it was an Anadolu Jet flight, they redirected me there.
I contacted Anadolu Jet, but they also could not find the ticket and redirected me back to Turkish Airlines. I spent hours talking to various call centers, and at one point, Ms. E**** from the Turkish Airlines call center even hung up on me.
I am supposed to be a Turkish Airlines Elite customer, flying over 20 times a year for work. Yet, even on the "Elite special customer" line, I get hung up on.
All I have is the transaction details from my credit card. Somehow, a technical glitch occurred, and my financial transaction did not convert into a ticket. However, I do not know how to resolve this or how to reach someone higher up than a basic operator to explain my issue. I hope this complaint record helps because reaching Turkish Airlines is truly impossible. The only thing I have been told repeatedly is: "Sir, we could not find your ticket." What a coincidence, neither could I.
