Trip.com Refused to Refund Baggage Fee Under 24-Hour Cancellation Policy

I purchased a ticket through Trip.com because I trusted their “24-hour free cancellation guarantee.” However, the baggage fee they required me to purchase is not being refunded. There was no notice stating that the baggage purchase was non-refundable when I added it. In the attached explanation, they claim the baggage cannot be canceled because it was “used,” but I did not use it — my flight was scheduled for April 2.

I urgently request a refund of the deducted baggage fee. They sell tickets without baggage, force customers to purchase baggage, and then refuse to refund it.
