I Paid for Extra Baggage on Trip.com But Didn’t Receive It or Get My Refund

I purchased extra baggage for my upcoming flight through Trip.com, and the payment was immediately charged to my credit card. However, almost a full day later, I received a message stating that the extra baggage could not be added to my booking. Despite this, the amount I paid was not refunded, and I was told it would take 3 to 7 business days for the money to return to my account.
The real issue? My flight is just 3 days away, and because my funds are still being held, I currently cannot purchase new baggage. I’m stuck in a terrible position—no service received, money blocked, and no usable solution provided.
I demand that Trip.com either immediately refunds the full amount or adds the extra baggage to my booking without delay. If not resolved promptly, I will not hesitate to report this to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
