10 Global Blue Tax Refunds Denied After Incorrect Customs Guidance

I have a total of 10 tax-free transactions for purchases I made in the Netherlands between January 17 and January 26. When leaving the Netherlands, I was told at customs that I needed to complete the tax-free procedures upon entering Turkey, so I kept all my forms and receipts accordingly. However, after arriving in Turkey and visiting the relevant customs office in Ayvalık, I was informed that the procedures actually needed to be completed when exiting the Netherlands and that they could not be processed from Turkey. Due to these contradictory instructions, I was unable to receive refunds for any of my 10 tax-free transactions and have suffered financial loss as a result. My transaction and invoice numbers will be provided to Global Blue upon request. Because of the misinformation and the hardship I have experienced, I request that all of my tax-free refunds for purchases made in the Netherlands be processed in full.
