Tax Refund Lost Between Planet and Global Blue After Border Submission

On November 18, 2025, I purchased one iPhone 17 Pro and one iPhone 17 Pro Max from the Plaisio store in Thessaloniki, Greece. I paid for both phones with my own credit card. For the tax-free process, one form was issued under my passport and the other under my spouse’s passport. Upon exiting at the Ipsala–Kipi border crossing, all customs approvals and stamps were properly completed. Afterward, we placed our tax-free documents into the collection box located there. We later learned that the forms were supposed to be sent to Planet Tax Free, but we had placed them in a Global Blue box instead. However, at the border crossing, we specifically asked the staff for guidance, and they directed us to place both forms into that box, stating that the process would be handled from there. Therefore, there was no intentional or negligent mistake on our part. Despite several months having passed, the total €512 tax refund has still not been paid to me. I have contacted both Planet Tax Free and Global Blue multiple times by email, but I have only received negative and unsatisfactory responses. When I call by phone, most of the time no one answers, and I cannot reach anyone who is willing or able to resolve the issue. Since my tax-free documents were properly stamped by customs and submitted in accordance with the instructions given at the border, I request that the full €512 refund amount be credited without delay to the same credit card I used for the purchases. I also request an explanation regarding the failure of communication channels and the hardship I have experienced during this process, and I ask that the issue be resolved urgently.
