I Paid for a Trip.com Flight but Airline Says My Ticket Doesn’t Exist
I booked a flight through Trip.com for May 22nd on the TAG-ICN route, and they provided me with a PNR number. But when I checked the booking directly on the airline’s website, they told me no such ticket existed under that reference. I immediately contacted Trip.com customer service, and instead of solving the issue, they just told me not to worry—seriously?
Then things got even more ridiculous. They offered to change my ticket to a different flight that was being sold for €30 on their own website, but said I would need to pay €56 in change fees! How is it cheaper to buy a completely new ticket than to change the original one I already paid for?
This was supposed to be my first booking with Trip.com—I was planning a Pacific tour and intended to book around 15 flights. After this experience, there's absolutely no way I’ll trust this platform again. I feel misled and overcharged. Trip.com needs to either provide the ticket I paid for or refund me in full, without trying to upsell their own error.
