Siemens Delays Approved Dishwasher Replacement And Keeps Postponing!
I have experienced severe hardship due to issues with a brand-new Siemens dishwasher (model sn23EW63KT) and broken promises throughout the subsequent service process. Installed on July 20, the appliance displayed an E:31 error code when I first ran it on July 25. Between July 26 and July 29, the unit was taken in for service; after being returned, it ran only once before failing again. Consequently, I submitted a request for a direct replacement on July 30. Service technicians arrived on July 31 for another diagnostic check, and on August 1, the product was officially acknowledged as defective, approving a direct unit replacement. The replacement process was initiated on August 2, on which date I inquired about upgrading to a higher model. On August 5, I was contacted by telephone by the exchange representative, Mr. H******. Following our conversation, I decided to proceed with the original model, and he explicitly pledged that the product would ship from the warehouse the following day and arrive within one week at the latest. However, when I called on August 7 to check the delivery status, I learned that the unit had not yet shipped, might ship the next day, and that delivery could take up to 10 days. Although I cited Mr. H******'s explicit commitment and requested clarification, I was told I would receive a callback that never occurred. When I called again on August 7 at 23:27, I was told, "You have already been informed," forcing me to file an official complaint regarding the customer service representative. I have been unable to use a brand-new dishwasher in my home since July 20, and I believe the process is being needlessly prolonged with contradictory information and unfulfilled promises. I demand the immediate dispatch of my approved replacement unit without further delays and a prompt resolution to my grievance. Otherwise, I will submit my complete chronological documentation to the Ministry of Trade Consumer Arbitration Board to exercise my legal rights.
