When my TP link vr600 gets hot, the cover on the sides and bottom of the modem becomes crooked. When the modem becomes too hot, it is unable to reflect the speed values I have purchased. I can't even get half the speed that telecom promises. I can get very high speeds when the telecom technical teams connect their modems, but I can't get them on my modem. I sent my device in for warranty service. I stated the issue and wrote about it. The following was the response I received. Your device has been tested with ADSL and VDSL connections. It successfully connects to the internet. Check that you have correctly configured the user name and password provided by your ISP company in the device setup appropriate for your line (ADSL or VDSL). Now TP-Link shows me how to configure the device. What they don't understand is that the modem provides an Internet connection; I don't say anything to it, but other modems provide me with all of the speeds available under my tariff. My modem overheats and only provides half of the speed specified in my tariff. Other modems do not experience the same issue. The technical service is unwilling to comprehend this. They even ignored the trapezoidal areas caused by overheating modems. It is unfortunate that TPlink exists.
