Turkish Airlines Refund Issue for Over 3 Years


I find myself caught in a frustrating situation with Tickets.com.tr. Back on February 14, 2020, I purchased a ticket just before the pandemic hit. Unfortunately, the flight was canceled, and despite their suggestion of an alternative ticket option, none was provided.
The real kicker is their claim of processing the refund after a staggering 2 years and 4 months. According to their own policies, a refund should have been issued within 3 months. Fast forward 2 years and 10 months, and I'm still left empty-handed, with neither the refund nor a positive response to my request for a ticket change.
To add insult to injury, they insist on refunding the ticket I initially bought for 4,320 TL (658 dollars) at the current rate of 4,200 TL after more than two years. This completely disregards the significant increase in the exchange rate during this period, and the refund is not adjusted to the rate at the time of purchase.
Now, the same round-trip flight tickets can't be obtained at the original price, making a refund less than ideal. My request is not for a refund but rather a ticket change. Making matters worse, attempting to reach them by phone is a daunting task, and their email responses lack cooperation. Communication with this company has proven to be an uphill battle.
