I’ve been waiting for a specific product to be restocked on Sephora for a while. Finally, I received an email that it was back in stock, and along with it, I got a special discount offer of ₺335. I added the item to my cart along with a few others and placed the order using the discount. Shortly after, Sephora canceled my order, claiming the product was actually out of stock. That was already disappointing, but what happened next was even worse.
Instead of reissuing my ₺335 discount coupon, Sephora gave me a “free shipping coupon” as compensation—which is completely useless since I already had free shipping! To make things worse, the coupon expired the same day and my original discount code was completely wiped from my account.
Adding insult to injury, when I visited the Sephora Demirören store on my birthday for my free brow service, they deducted my body lotion birthday gift coupon, but never gave me the actual product. So now both my birthday reward and my discount are gone.
