Sephora Birthday Gift Code Did Not Work When I Tried to Use It

I was informed by Sephora that I had been given a birthday gift with a special code that could only be added to my basket if I purchased something else from the website. However, no matter what I added, the system kept saying “unavailable promotion.” The same issue happened on the app, and when I went to the store, they told me they couldn’t see the gift there either. I contacted customer service, and their only response was that there was a “quotation” on the codes—seriously, what does that even mean? First, you give me a code and then require me to buy something else just to get the gift, and on top of that, it doesn’t even work. This whole system is ridiculous, Sephora Turkey! Keep your worthless body lotion.
