Qatar Airways Refuses to Compensate for Damaged Baggage

On June 8, 2023, I had a flight from Dar es Salaam to Doha, followed by a connecting flight from Doha to Istanbul with Qatar Airways. Upon arrival in Istanbul, I discovered that the wheel of my luggage was broken. When I tried to file a damage report, Qatar Airways claimed that a broken wheel doesn't qualify as damage. Despite providing photographic evidence of the broken wheel before leaving Istanbul Airport, they disregarded my complaint. Additionally, it was conveyed that the luggage couldn't be used due to the broken wheel. I'm disappointed with Qatar Airways' disrespectful response and their refusal to take responsibility for damaging my luggage, whether by replacing it or compensating me in cash. As a earthquake survivor from Kahramanmaraş, I will never choose Qatar Airways again and won't recommend it to others.
