My Philips Ambilight TV Shows Strong Pixel Lines

I have a 55-inch Philips Ambilight TV, and very noticeable pixel lines appear on the screen. Because of the light reflections, faces are not clearly visible. When I called Philips support, I was told that if it is a defect, a service report could be issued, but if this is simply the product’s quality, then nothing can be done. They also told me that I could pursue my legal rights.

Philips still hasn't resolved my issue and insists on not solving it. The people I spoke to are also rude and indifferent.

On Monday, November 24, 2025, I called for service, and they came. They adjusted the channels and left. They said, 'I did what I could, discuss the rest with the authorities.' Philips Center also said the service did what it was supposed to do. They told me to talk to the service. Both sides shifted responsibility to each other. Moreover, the service can't say there's no problem. They tell me to talk to the authorities. We trusted the brand for nothing.

I already submitted it to the Consumer Arbitration Board.

Doesn't a government official see all these complaints?
