I Face Severe Allergic Reaction on My Baby After Using Mustela Diaper Rash Cream

My baby is 10 months old, and until recently, we never experienced any skin issues — not even the slightest redness. But everything changed after we started using Mustela’s diaper rash cream. Almost immediately, my baby developed a severe allergic reaction in the diaper area. The skin became red, irritated, and inflamed, causing clear discomfort and distress.
It took us a while to figure out that the rash was being caused by the very cream that was supposed to protect against it. We were shocked and felt completely helpless during that time. It’s incredibly upsetting that one of the most expensive creams on the market could have such a harsh and harmful effect on a baby’s sensitive skin.
How is this possible? Are these products not properly allergy-tested before being sold? I’ve now seen that many other parents have reported similar issues with Mustela’s rash cream — this is clearly not an isolated incident.
Mustela, I urge you to take this matter seriously. Your products are marketed as safe for babies, but my experience — and many others’ — says otherwise. I expect an explanation, accountability, and most importantly, improvements to your product testing process so other families aren’t harmed the way we were.
