I started using Mustela shampoo on my 9-month-old daughter, and almost immediately after bath time, I noticed red patches and skin flare-ups on her back and arms. At first, I thought it might be a reaction to something she ate, but after repeated baths, it became clear—the shampoo was the trigger.
What’s most disappointing is that I’ve been using Mustela’s lotion on her since birth with absolutely no issues. I trusted this brand, believing it to be one of the safest for babies. But now, after introducing the shampoo, my daughter has developed what appears to be dermatitis or eczema—something she has never dealt with before.
I’m extremely upset that a brand marketed for delicate baby skin could cause such a harsh reaction. Mustela needs to reevaluate the ingredients in this shampoo and provide answers to parents experiencing similar issues. I demand a proper explanation and action—this isn’t just about a product, it’s about my child’s health and comfort. I will no longer risk using this shampoo, and unless this is resolved, I will be abandoning the entire brand altogether.
