I purchased the Mustela SPF50 Sun Stick from an authorized pharmacy just a week ago for my daughter, paying a premium price for what I believed to be a quality product. Unfortunately, the product’s mechanism broke within one week of purchase. Despite carefully turning the bottom dial as instructed, it no longer functions, making the sun stick completely unusable.
Since we are currently on vacation, I could not immediately return to the pharmacy where I purchased it. After researching the issue, I discovered that many other consumers have reported the same defect, suggesting this may be a recurring manufacturing problem. This is very disappointing, especially for a product intended for children’s sensitive skin.
I already have two additional Mustela sticks at home, and I sincerely hope they do not develop the same defect. I kindly request that the company replace my defective sun stick with a working one as soon as possible.
