I signed up for the 1-month free trial of Microsoft 365, but after just a few days of use, I realized the platform wasn’t meeting my needs. So I canceled my subscription well within the trial period, thinking that would be the end of it. To my surprise and frustration, I saw a ₺230 charge on my account yesterday, despite having no active subscription.
How can Microsoft justify charging someone who clearly canceled within the free trial window? I didn’t agree to continue the subscription and never received a notice warning that I would be billed. This feels extremely misleading for a company that is supposed to be trustworthy.
I tried contacting their Turkey-based support, but after being told “You are being connected,” I was left waiting for over 10 minutes with no response. It’s deeply disappointing to experience this kind of issue with a brand as well-known and reputable as Microsoft.
I demand a full refund of the ₺230 that was taken from my account without my consent. Microsoft needs to re-evaluate their trial cancellation system, improve transparency in billing, and provide accessible, responsive customer service—especially for users who act responsibly and cancel before being charged.
