Google Microsoft Apps Charged Without My Consent After Free Trial
On May 13, 2025, Google Microsoft Apps charged ₺229.99 from my account without my consent or approval. I had signed up for a free one-month trial, and when the trial ended, the app automatically withdrew money from my account—even though I never confirmed any payment or manually proceeded with the subscription.
Just because my card details were saved does not give permission to process charges without explicit consent. This is not only unethical—it’s also a violation of consumer rights. Due to this unauthorized withdrawal, I was forced to cancel my card entirely and go through the hassle of replacing it just to prevent further charges.
Google, I demand an immediate refund. I never approved the ₺229.99 payment, and your system should not be allowed to charge users silently after a free trial ends. Fix this issue, return my money, and stop exploiting saved payment details to charge users without clear authorization.

The moment my Microsoft 365 free trial ended, 229.99 TL was charged from my card and I did not receive any notification email or SMS from Microsoft beforehand. I tried to cancel the subscription process immediately, but I couldn't find any section on the site regarding a refund. I was considering continuing my subscription on a monthly basis, but due to this unprofessional approach, I will not use Office applications again. There is neither an email address nor a contact person we can reach on their website. I hope my issue will be resolved and my grievance will be addressed.
