Green Motion Charged My Card Without Notice After Renting a Fully Insured Car

On 31/08/2024, I rented a fully insured vehicle from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen. While driving in Rize, I received a "low oil pressure" warning on the dashboard, so I pulled over and contacted roadside assistance. After explaining the situation, they informed me that the vehicle needed to be towed to a service center for repair and said they would send a tow truck. Since the company’s tow truck was going to arrive late, I called a tow truck on my own and had the car towed to the industrial area. The next day, the vehicle was picked up. However, on 02/10/2024, my credit card was charged ₺19,581 without my knowledge, and the invoice was sent via WhatsApp. When I contacted the company, they said that because I activated the additional security deposit, the entire bill was my responsibility. I will never rent from this company again and will not recommend them to anyone. I will file a complaint with the necessary authorities and pursue the issue to the fullest extent, just so you know.
