Sixt Rent a Car Charged My Card Twice Without Authorization After Rental

On November 15, 2024, I rented a car for two days from the Kadıköy Sixt Rent a Car branch. During my trip, I noticed the car pulling to the right and contacted roadside assistance. They directed me to the Sabiha Gökçen office for a vehicle exchange, claiming they had already emailed the necessary information. However, when I arrived, the staff at Sabiha Gökçen said they weren’t informed. After insisting they check their email, the exchange was finally handled.

On my return from Balıkesir, I contacted roadside assistance to confirm if I could return the car to the Kadıköy office instead of Sabiha Gökçen. They assured me this was fine. However, after returning the car, I noticed an unauthorized charge of ₺700 on my card. When I called, they claimed it was a mistake and refunded the amount.

Shockingly, on November 19, 2024, my card was charged twice for over ₺1,600 each time, with only one charge refunded. This constant charging and refunding is unprofessional and unacceptable. When I raised the issue, they emailed me a breakdown of the charges, but this careless handling of payments feels like a game. I demand an explanation and immediate resolution.
