Dyson V15 Detect Absolute Battery Dies Early After Normal Use

I purchased my Dyson V15 Detect Absolute cordless vacuum cleaner on January 13, 2023. Even though the product has not yet reached its third year of use, the battery suddenly failed, despite there being no drops, impacts, or misuse of any kind. The device shows no signs of wear, so having the battery fail in such a short time has been extremely disappointing.

When I contacted Dyson customer service, I was told that the warranty period is two years, and therefore they could not assist me. I was informed that I would need to pay $190 to replace the battery. Expecting a nearly new, regularly used, and well-maintained device to require such an expensive battery replacement every three years does not align, in my opinion, with product quality expectations or the brand’s reputation.

Considering the usage period of the product and the fact that the battery failed so early, I am requesting that the battery be replaced free of charge. I kindly ask that a customer-focused solution be provided in this matter.
