Ford Focus Transmission Replacement Failed to Fix Persistent Noise Issue

For the past 10–11 months, I have been experiencing an annoying noise coming from the transmission in my Ford Focus. Because of this noise during gear shifts, I took my vehicle to an authorized service center, and after their inspection, I was told that the transmission needed to be replaced. The replacement was performed under warranty, and I was not charged any fee.

However, just a few minutes after picking up my vehicle following the transmission replacement, I noticed that the exact same noise was still present, and I brought the car back to the service center. This time, I was told that the newly installed transmission was defective and would need to be replaced again.

After the transmission was replaced for the second time, I stated that I was still hearing the same noise. This time, however, I was told that the noise is considered normal. If this noise is truly normal, I find it difficult to understand why the transmission was replaced twice in the first place.

In addition, I specifically checked other Ford Focus vehicles of the same model as mine, and I did not encounter this issue in any of them. Despite this, I do not believe it is appropriate to consider the ongoing noise in my vehicle as normal or to leave the issue unresolved.

My expectation from Ford corporate headquarters is that my vehicle be thoroughly and carefully inspected, that it be clearly and transparently determined whether this noise is truly normal, and that if there is a defect, it be permanently resolved. I also expect my grievance to be taken seriously and handled with the attention it deserves.

Ford Unsolvable Fan and Constantly Recurring Sound Problems

"After a 2,400 km, 2-month service ordeal with the brand new car we bought, our problems were resolved. The fan was replaced (we were lucky to have an experienced mechanic who managed to change it without removing the front console), and other repairs (such as a loosened pipe, etc.) were carried out. Currently, aside from some plastic noises, there are no major issues left with the vehicle. I will mention those at the next maintenance. Ford Turkey was very attentive. However, they have not called so far after the repair. Thank you..."
