I purchased my Dyson V15 Detect Absolute (Product Code: 394451-01) from an authorized Dyson store on August 19, 2022. From the very first day, the battery has never been able to clean my 90 m² home on a single charge. I reported this issue multiple times, but Dyson provided no effective solution.
Now, the battery has completely stopped working. When I contacted customer service, I was told that Dyson vacuum batteries are “like phone batteries” and need regular replacement. They quoted ₺6,000 for a new battery and an additional ₺5,500 service fee if I requested an inspection.
One of the main reasons I chose Dyson was the expectation of owning a reliable, long-lasting product. Facing such high costs after only three years undermines both the brand’s customer satisfaction commitment and its durability claims.
I request that Dyson urgently review my case and replace the battery free of charge or offer a fair alternative solution. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
