Hello, I’m a Dyson V15 Detect cordless vacuum owner, and I’m extremely disappointed in the support I’ve received post-warranty. My product’s warranty expired on 09.03.2025. Just 20 days after the warranty ended, the battery suddenly failed and began showing an error. I contacted Dyson customer support, and while they said I could purchase a replacement battery, I was then told that the V15 battery is out of stock and that no compatible alternatives are available either.
They redirected me to a Dyson retail stand, but when I went there, the staff told me they don’t sell spare parts like batteries—only boxed products. I can’t find a V15 battery on their website, in stores, or through support. I’ve spent a significant amount of money on this premium vacuum, and now I’m stuck with a machine I can’t use due to a battery that I can’t even buy.
To make matters worse, Dyson cannot provide a timeline for when the battery will be restocked. I was willing to pay for the part—yet I’m left with no solution. This is not the level of service I expect from a brand like Dyson. A battery failing just after the warranty ends, and being completely unavailable for purchase, is unacceptable. I urge Dyson to make these batteries available immediately or offer a viable solution to customers who trusted in their brand. Right now, all I’m left with is regret.
