I purchased the Dyson Gen5detect (Serial No: Z5T-EU-SGA3196A), expecting a high-quality product, but I’ve had nothing but issues. First, the carpet head broke, and after contacting Dyson, they sent me a replacement instead of repairing it. However, just 3-4 months later, the same issue happened again! When I reached out this time, Dyson told me they would neither repair it nor send a replacement—I would have to pay for a fix myself.
Why do people choose Dyson? We pay premium prices expecting durability, reliable service, and hassle-free repairs. Instead, I’m being told that I have to pay extra for a faulty part that keeps breaking. This is unacceptable customer service. Dyson, your carpet head attachment is clearly defective—why does this issue keep happening with it while other attachments work fine? Instead of taking responsibility, your service team refuses to even inspect the issue.
I’m not asking for a full machine replacement—I’m asking for a real solution to a recurring problem. If Dyson doesn’t take action and offer a fair resolution, I will pursue legal action. I have video evidence and photos proving the defect.
