I bought the Dreame X40 robot vacuum expecting premium performance, but it completely let me down. Just one month in, the device started malfunctioning badly. Every time I create a map and start a cleaning cycle, it deletes the map, spins in place, and refuses to clean properly.
It either gets stuck, spins endlessly, or can’t return to the base station on its own. I’ve tried re-mapping multiple times, resetting, and following all instructions, but nothing fixes the issue. This is not what I expected from a product at this price point (₺).
What makes it worse is that I had used Xiaomi robot vacuums for years without any problems. Switching to Dreame has been a huge disappointment. I trusted the brand, but clearly that trust was misplaced.
